Steele Dossier

Overview

Facts of Steele Dossier

The "Steele Dossier" is a series of unverified allegations (opposition research) paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Christopher Steele's admitted direct sources of information were current and former top level Russian government officials.
"Speaking to a trusted compatriot in June 2016 sources A and B, a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure and a former top level Russian intelligence officer still active inside the Kremlin respectively…."
"Continuing on this theme, Source G, a senior Kremlin official, confided that the CLINTON dossier was controlled exclusively by chief Kremlin spokesman, Dmitriy PESKOV, who was responsible for compiling/handling it on the explicit instructions of PUTIN himself".
Other supposed sources identified in the dossier included: Source C, a "Senior Russian Financial Officer"; Steele also described a smattering of unlettered sources as a FSB Cyber Operative(Russia's CIA); a former Senior Intelligence Officer; a Senior Government Figure; "well-placed and established Kremlin source 1"; "well-placed and established Kremlin source 2"
Consider: Steele's direct sources were Russian government officials including Putin's current spokesman. Any chance they could be providing "disinformation"? - Corruption cop

Three primary players of the "sub-source" content of much of the "Steele Dossier" are either Russian nationals or have high level and long ties to the Russian government.
Igor Danchenko - A Russian National and Primary sub-source of information for the Steele Dossier.
Was the Subject of an FBI counterintelligence investigation 2009 to 2011 that indicated that he might be a "threat to national security" (a spy).
Was a paid FBI Confidential Human Source (CHS) from March 2017 through October 2020.
After the FBI put Danchenko on their CHS payroll, he was completely off the grid and for 3 1/2 years any information about him was withheld from Congress under the "sources and methods" justification. - Corruption cop

Olga Galkina - A Russian National and a Danchenko source who was angling for a State Dept. job if Hillary won.
Charles Dolan - Long time operative for both Bill and Hillary Clinton. Was a prolific Danchenko source.
Dolan and the Clintons have a lengthy history that dates back to the 1990s. In 2008, Dolan served as an adviser to then-Sen. Clinton's presidential campaign and "actively campaigned" on behalf of Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.
From 2006 to 2014, Dolan was V.P. of Kglobal a PR firm that handled public relations for the Russian government and Gazprom - a state-owned energy firm.
Consider: The Clinton's buddy Charles Dolan worked for the Russian government, feeds information to Danchenko who feeds it to Steele who writes the Dossier that the FBI uses against Trump. - Corruption cop

FBI Agent Brian Auten testified that in early Oct 2016, before the first FISA application against Carter Page the FBI offered Steele up to a million dollars for any evidence that could corroborate the information in the Steele Dossier and that Steele could not.
Consider: Christopher Steele, the author of the central accusations used in the entire Trump/Russia investigation, had to pass up one million dollars because he could not offer proof that any of it was accurate.

**As you can see there were many major Russian figures involved in the Steele Dossier. Even though Robert Mueller was authorized, as he put it in the Special Counsel Report, to investigate "the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election," the report makes no mention of any efforts to investigate Russia's role in feeding Steele misinformation. Why? See Mueller Special Council Investigation later in this document. - Corruption cop
